Overall, memes adapt with “societal values” and are a type of form of communicative digital rhetoric. He also states that “User interaction which creates viral sensations of a picture as the framework” and this relates to the Interactivity which is within digital rhetoric. Interactivity in Digital Rhetoric: Theory, Method, Practice is “communication that includes some form of reciprocal message exchange involving mediation and occurring between [an organization] and users, between users and the site text, or between users and other users” (Eyman).
